For new construction wherehousing will be in direct contact with insulation.Accommodates (2) 13W PL Double Twin TubeCompact fluorescent lamp. Furnished withpreinstalled adjustable bar hangers. Junction box isprovided with four 1/2” KOs, one 3/4” KO and fourRomex knockouts with strain relief.

A. OUTER HOUSING - Die formed aluminum construction for maximum heat dissipating air chamberon top of the housing. Junction box could be accessedfrom inside and outside housing.

B. INNER HOUSING - Die-formed, all aluminumconstruction for maximum heat dissipation and rustprotection. Adjusts vertically in plaster frame toaccommodate 1/2” to 1-3/8” ceiling.

C. SOCKET - Two vertically mounted plug-in socket.Unitized optics guarantees proper trim to housinginstallation. Tool-less installation adjusts from insidethe housing.

D. BALLAST - Thermally protected, current controlledballast, will produce full light output, increase lamplife with no noise and flicker. Ballast supplied ismanufactured by Advance.

E. BAR HANGERS - Preinstalled bar hangers allowhousing to be positioned and locked at any point withina 24” joist span. They can be positioned on either thelong or short axis of the housing and can be shortenedfor 12” joists. They contain a double-headed realnail for secure attachment into the joist. Bar hangernails are installed on a 20º downward angle for bettercontact, and the 90º pivoting mounting plate makesinstallation fast and accurate. Bar hangers can fit ontoT-Bar spline with additional slots and holes for specialmounting methods if necessary.

F. JUNCTION BOX - ETL listed for through-branchcircuit wiring and has four 1/2” KOs, one 3/4” KOand four Romex knockouts with true pry-out slots andstrain clamps.
